A large clean cozy house in the charming town of Coniston. We were there three nights and used the well stocked kitchen to cook two meals for our group of 15. Of the 4 places we stayed in the UK (including a huge much more expensive manor house near Inverness) this house was most peoples favorite lodging. Highly recommend. We spent one day climbing up the Old Man of Coniston Hill, and also walked to the Coniston water. One day we drove to nearby Ambleside which was a treat. Be advised, the roads to Coniston are quite narrow.“
Finally, the owner and manager of the property were both very helpful during all stages of booking and our stay at Beechtree House. I would thoroughly recommend a the house and area for a good holiday.
